The philosophy of harnessing the body's wisdom to facilitate healing and optimize wellness guides my work.  Fascial Counterstrain is the newest and most powerful addition to my skill set, and it does exactly that.  It is a cutting edge osteopathic method that accesses the nervous system connection to fascia in every system of the body to release tension and restore circulation and function.  A session in my studio (or your home) will complement these gentle and effective techniques with traditional massage therapy in a calm and deeply relaxing setting.

I have  been practicing massage therapy since graduating from the program at CGCC in 2006.  I finished my bachelors in Psychology and Biology at SUNY New Paltz in 2013. My experience ranges from practicing 3 years of medical massage in a chiropractic setting to treating athletes with pre- and post- event massage at competitive triathlons under the tutelage of Charles Pegg, an instructor at the Swedish Institute of Massage in NYC.  I have also completed workshops in Reiki and Prenatal massage, and have many years of experience caring for clients with a wide range of needs.  My current professional development is focused on studying the Fascial Counterstrain method with the Jones Institute for Strain Counterstrain.
